Professor Christine Imms is Professor of Occupational Therapy, inaugural National Head of School of Allied Health and founding Director of the Centre for Disability and Development Research (CeDDR): Enabling diversity across the lifespan at the Australian Catholic University. Christine’s research is aimed at optimising the participation of people with childhood onset disability in everyday life, with a primary focus on children and youth with cerebral palsy. Christine’s career research funding exceeds $6.5 million, and she has over 60 refereed journal articles. Her current work includes being third CI on an NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence – Cerebral Palsy, and lead CI NHMRC Partnership project aimed at improving the evidence based practices of allied health professionals working with children with cerebral palsy.
